Currently not in driveable condition since it threw a fan+alternator accessory belt (should've checked but was old rubber belt starting to crack) on the highway and the engine overheated. Needs to be checked for blown engine gasket potentially or troubleshooted further. Likely a ~$600 repair. But engine still turns on just fine, but it will overheat in a matter of 5 minutes at idle.

Since then it has been sitting for the past year. This car will need some TLC to get it back to a clean/running state.

While it was sitting there was some animals chewing at a couple lines of electrical wiring under the hood in a section near the front left side.

This car was in good working order before it began to sit. Besides the engine troubleshooting, the transmission, clutch/pedals, drivetrain, suspension, wheels, glass, seats all in good working order. If youre looking to do an engine rebuild the core engine should still be good. So if you are looking for spare parts on a project car this car would have lots of good parts to pick from.

Also for the salvage condition: Someone ran into the back bumper when I was sitting at a stop light and pushed the nose of my car into the car in front. There was no major damage to the car’s internals or structure. Only damage was the dent in the front (Can see the dent lines on hood) and rear bumper (plastic cracked and sides brackets ajar) but the metal bumper was mostly undamaged. Airbags did not deploy since it was low speed, low impact. Since it is a old car the insurance company salvaged it since the repair was more than the value of the car at that time.
