Vehicle Description

1949 Packard #2301 23rd series, Straight 8 cyl. 4 door sedan. Manual shift 3-speed trans. in good working order. Considerable restoration work has been done so far. Many New items; - radiator, water pump, antifreeze change, carburetor rebuild, fuel pump, plugs and wires, Mobil one oil change, brake wheel cylinders, all brake lines, brake shoes, gas tank renu, exhaust muffler & pipes, new radial wide whitewall tires, mounted, balanced, never been on the ground as the car is raised on jack stands, new interior upholstery finished in durable fabric, seat springs, pads, foam, all done in a soft vanilla color. Door panels repaired, new leather armrests. Glass lenses replaced, hood and trunk lid painted underneath ready for topcoat, rear-wheel fender skirts, and hub caps are excellent, no dents in the bumpers, the chrome is not perfect but serviceable for the original year of them. All body trim & nameplates are in fine shape, original floor mats, all windows work fine. This auto is mostly sanded and primed, one lower 1/4 panel area still needs repair. The Interior is all finished ready to install, and the body almost ready for top color paint. This model is the later 23rd series with the most desirable oval taillights. The engine starts and runs smooth with a deep straight-eight exhaust note. Service manual, owners manual, original documents included. Garaged since 1994. Yes, 37,298 is the original mileage.
