THIS IS THE MOST DESIRABLE 3RD GEN 4RUNNER MODEL (the only year and trim level to come with optional full time 4x4, factory locking rear diff, and the 99 tall springs)
The time has come to sell our 4runner as we need something bigger more suited to towing. i owned an old BMW before this rig so i was paranoid about reliability and maintenance. i researched every common issue with these rigs and set this truck up to run flawlessly for the next 5-10 years. It never gave us a single problem.
here is a list of new parts and preventative maintenance all installed within the last year
- tundra big brake kit
-new brake pads and rotors all around
-new radiator (never had the milkshake problem but i replaced the old one just incase)
-new rear axle seals
-02 sensor
- timing belt
-water pump
-coil packs
-spark plugs
-spark plug wires
-air filter
-fuel filter
-pcv valve
-had the injectors cleaned professionally
-regular oil changes with full synthetic, no leaks
-full transmission flush
-front diff, rear diff, and transfer case all have fresh fluid
-new belts
-optima red top battery
-high output alternator
-new all terrain tires
I could be forgetting some things but regardless this is a well maintained very reliable vehicle, full time 4wd makes it great in the snow, it has the dolby sound system that came with the limited, as well as a full leather interior, and power seats. The truck has a magnaflow exhaust with a resonator, sounds good but not crazy loud, hellas up front as well as led lights all around the roof rack can be controlled via toggle switches pictured above.

Previous owner said it was in a fender bender, very minor, just needed a new bumper, no structural damage. I believe the title status was clean but it could be rebuilt if the insurance considered the vehicle "totaled" either way this doesn't effect the truck at all, the bumper was professionally replaced by a Toyota dealer, it never gave me any problems during my ownership.
