97 4Runner with original Colorado Title! One owner! 233k on the body
- Rear factory E-Locker
- Lower mile (150,000) motor with new timing belt and water pump recently installed
- 6 New Genuine Toyota fuel injectors
- Valve cover and seals all replaced with Toyota parts
- King Suspension Coils on front ($1300 coil-overs) with less than 5,000 miles on them
- Old Man Emu Rear coils and Bilstein 5100 shocks with less than 5,000 miles on them.
- Clean leather interior, no smells, no pets, slight tear on side of drivers seat but not much
-New rear brake shoes and drums (Genuine Toyota parts)
- New front Rotors and Pads (Genuine Toyota parts)
- New NGK spark plugs and new Genuine Toyota Brand spark plug wires
- Weather Tech Floor mats front and rear
- Air-Aid Intake tube (adds 1,000 horsepower lol)
- Very clean engine bay (NO leaks or seeps)
- Upgraded sun visors from a 2000 4Runner, the original ones are thin and flimsy, new ones are nice!)
- New Falken Wildpeak A/T tires 265/75/16
- Keyless entry
- Original paint and was protected with a coating when it was brand new
- Rust free, very clean frame
- No accidents
- B and M Auto Glass (in Taos) just installed a brand new windshield
- Drives, runs and shifts very smoothy, suspension is like butter over rough NM landscape
Metric Motors in Taos just did:
- Transmission flush (bright pink, fresh fluid)
- Installed Wheelers Off-Road extended rear brake line and bled brakes
- Fresh A\C service , new Freon and Schrader valves.. Blows ice cold
Someone had done the valve covers and did a bad job, I just redid them with Genuine Toyota parts the right way with proper tourqe specs, and cross tightened the valve covers properly, cleaned everything, replaced the injectors, replaced camshaft half-moons, rear cam plugs, valve cover seals, grommet washers, heat wrapped the wiring harness... this took me ~15 hours because I did it surgically and correctly. I worked as a mechanic much of my life (some at Toyota Dealers) and found if you really want something done right around here you have to do it yourself or take it to ToyoTech in Santa Fe.
