Reason for selling:
I’m listing this car for my friend who is an older gentleman, former 5 star Italian chef, now retired. He loves this car but is getting up in years and not able to enjoy it anymore. He wants to see it go to a good home. I’m a young blooded car lover who would buy it if I didn’t already have too many projects!!!
Is it a perfect specimen? Well, if it was it probably wouldn’t sell for less than $15k! It does need a little work: the exhaust (cat back) needs replacing, the window regulators need repair, it needs windshield wipers, and the clear coat and paint has faded on the hood.
All the lights work, all the mechanics work, and the thing is a blast to drive. I drove it a bit and the clutch grabs very strong. The rubbers are good and it doesn’t leak water in the rain. All in all, it’s worth more than he’s asking.
