It was originally equipped with a 302-2 barrel and a three speed automatic transmission.
The current owner installed a new motor approximately two years ago. This motor came from a “Super
Performance” Shelby cobra that had a 351 Windsor motor that is “bored and stroked” to approximately 427 cubic inches and a Tremec 5 -speed manual transmission.
This beauty is smog exempt because of its age. It has headers on it and sounds like a ski boat when its running!
The motor is approximately 400+/- horsepower.
At the time the seller purchased the motor and transmission, there was less than 30,000 miles on the engine and transmission. Since having the engine and transmission installed in this Mustang the car has been driven less than 500 miles.
Current owner has several cars and is just downsizing.
There are two types of collector cars like this “Trailer Queens” and “Drivers”. This is a Driver.!
