If (like many) you are concerned about range, this is the best model (RWD-long range) to have, and it's no longer available new from Tesla. If you are worried about RWD in the winter, do not be, this is the best car you will ever drive on snow. The cg is very low and the traction control is amazing.
If you drive up large hills on ice regularly then get an AWD model (or good snow tires!). For the other 99% of us, this is perfect and more efficient than AWD.
