It is hard for me to wrap my head around this car. There are so many reasons why it is one the most exciting vehicles I've ever driven. Let's start with the most focal part, which is the twin turbo charged V12 engine. The same N74B66 V12 motor used by Rolls-Royce for its Ghost, Wraith and Dawn models, but tuned to different power outputs. This power plant makes an impressive 601 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 590 lb-ft of torque at only 1,550 rpm. Add in the BMW all wheel drive system and you get a 0-60 time of 3.6 seconds. Don't forget that this is a 5,000 pound long wheel base 7 series BMW and it's competing at the same level as many high horsepower 2-dr coupes. You usually get either size and comfort or horsepower, but you rarely get both. Now picture yourself riding in the back seat with your seat reclined, back massager fully activated and your favorite DVD playing. Question is, who gets to drive?
