Vehicle Description
It is a 6 speed manual. Shifts like it's new. Great car to learn on if you don't know how to drive stick, and I'd be happy to give you a quick lesson. It has a few minor nicks, but is in excellent condition. This is a car to love and to use, not to put in your garage and store.
I have to sell because my wife and I recently welcomed a newborn, and I want a car with more room for her. If it's not clear, though, I absolutely love this car. Let me tell you why.
The best descriptor for the FR-S: FUN. It drives with pop and has incredible balance. You sit low to the ground and feel one with the road. It doesn't aspire to be a drag race car, but it will still beat out most cars on the road. More importantly, it gets 30 MPG to make up for it, making it a fine daily driver. (Last I checked, my average was 30.5.)
The car is also versatile.
Need to drive friends somewhere? It has back seats that work well in a pinch.
Want to go to Tahoe? The back seat folds down and it fits a snowboard, skis, and a couple suitcases no problem.
Doing a home improvement run? It fits everything you need. I have transported a 9'3" board with the trunk closed and a 9' Christmas tree with the trunk open and strapped.

Background: The Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ are practically the same car. When Scion was absorbed by Toyota, this became the Toyota 86. They were all designed and built together.
