This 2 Series is for sale by owner and located in Cedar Rapids, IA. I am the second owner. It is equipped with nearly every option offered, and was $50k MSRP when purchased in 2015.
All of the miles are highway and the car was dealer maintained with all service records available. Additionally, it was just inspected by the BMW dealer with no issues noted. Don’t be concerned on the mileage, this car runs and drives like new.
This is a late model N20 engine which doesn’t have the timing chain issues that the earlier models had. It is priced for a quick sale at just under trade in values. These are super rare especially this time of year, and with the perfect options list and color combination. I have owned 15 BMW’s including several M3’s and this 228 is my favorite of all of them. It is the perfect size, light weight, and agile feel that is lacking on the current gen larger models.

Vehicle Condition:
Exterior: 9/10. Some shallow dings on door panels, minor chips on wheel from curb. Looks nice for the year and mileage.
Interior: 9/10. Excellent shape. Corner of display screen has a small 1” bubble as noted in photos.
Mechanical: 10/10. Just fully inspected with no issues. Runs and drives like new. Very reliable, this drivetrain has no history of issues and has been very well maintained. All the items that wear out have been replaced.
Recent maintenance completed in last 1000 miles (all OEM parts and fluids):
Oil filter gaskets replaced
New tires
Bilstein B4 OEM replacement struts
Front control arms replaced
Rear brake rotors and pads.
