I do a lot of preventative maintenance on my vehicles, and I can give you a list of what I have done. I use the best fluids including amsoil transmission fluid for it, I always use a good synthetic when changing the oil, and coolant gets changed at toyota dealership. This car will last a long time!
It has really good Nokian WR G4 Tires that I got for all the wet weather I travel in, but they are all weather tires, they can handle ice and snow better than most. The tires have 12k on them.
I purchased this car in 2016 when I thought I was about to start driving for Uber, and my personal life has me driving a ton as well. I never drove for Uber, but I prepped it for it.The car has excellent condition cloth seats, but I put in really nice Clazzio leather seats that many would think are the leather seats that come with the prius. They are in great condition as well, because I sit on a special back cushion due to an accident years ago. The seats are also liquid resistant, great for Uber or kids.
I have put right at 100k miles on this car, and really have no need to sell it, but my step father can't drive any more and gave me his older car that has been sitting in a garage for years. Due to covid I don't drive the prius enough to keep it, I really want it to go to somebody who plans to put a ton of miles on it, that is what it is great for.
The body is in good shape but not perfect, it has some nicks here and there. Overall it looks good, and doesn't have any rust. It drives like it did when I got it at 77k miles!
It has the lcd screen and will connect to a phone for calls and songs and such. I also installed a backup camera when I got it in 2016 that uses the same lcd screen the car came with.
If somebody was interested and wants to take it to a mechanic, I am totally fine with it, this car drives great and has no issues.
