Everything works and there are no lights of any kind illuminated on the dash. The car drives like a brand new car with no squeaks, rattles, noises, shakes, shimmies, etc. The interior is clean with no rips, stains, etc. Heat is hot, A/C is cold. All automatic climate functions work properly. There is no rust anywhere on this vehicle including the under body. Continental tires are mostly new. The suspension on this car is not hydraulically controlled which means it is not susceptible to some of the most common problems of this body style.
I am a Mercedes-Benz certified technician. I went to training in Texas in 2010 to become certified on these models (W212). This wagon is one I rebuilt from salvage. It had a light front end hit (right side - no frame damage). I replaced the hood, fender and bumper from a donor car and painted them to match with Glasurit Paint (Mercedes certified). I also replaced all the front bumper chrome components and fog lights to give the front end a refresh to look like new. I have pictures and receipts for any serious parties. I have an OHIO rebuilt title in hand and it is ready to transfer ownership without any hassles.
These cars (the wagons) are very rare. With such low mileage this car isn’t that far from new at a fraction of the cost of new.
