Used 2013 CODA ALL ELECTRIC EV VEHICLE CAR BRAND NEW NEVER DRIVEN NO BATT... for sale in Grand Isle, VT

Will consider trades for an inspected running car with good (~25MPG) economy. Not interested in trucks or project cars. I need a fully complete, turnkey vehicle suitable as a winter ride.

This is a brand new Coda EV glider. Coda is a now defunct car manufacturer that tried its hand at mass producing a purpose-built all electric vehicle. Unfortunately the $40K price tag couldn't justify what amounted to an otherwise $20K car with late 90's styling. So they went under, but they left behind a mediorcre looking car with an OUTSTANDING traction drive system at an unbelievable price. From $40K to less than $10K, they unloaded what was left at discount prices and I was able to get in on the deals. All of the electronics, chargers, and build materials are lightweight and technologically advanced. This car has the goods under the hood.

A "glider" is an electric vehicle that has no battery. When the Coda company folded and unloaded their inventory, some of the cars had the batteries removed.

This enabled people like me to acquire what was a $40K car for just a fraction of the cost from the dealers. I bought it in 2015 straight from dealer inventory. The EV system is 222VDC, so one could construct and install their own battery and have a ready to go EV rather than doing a full on conversion from the ground up on a donor vehicle. The car still looks and smells like brand new. I took the seat covers and plastic off the carpet to take the pictures - that's how new it is. It's 7 years old now, but still looks like it just came off the transport trailer. I stored it covered and protected, waiting for a financially opportune time to finish the battery pack and install. That time never came. Life events require me to part with this dream. I don't want to sell, but I must.

The Coda is untouched and not even a single fastener has been removed. The project was never started. As I mentioned, the traction drive system alone is worth twice what I'm selling this whole car for. UQM is one of the best systems you can buy if you are looking to build an EV. This is a STEAL if you are an EV fan and you understand what you are looking at right now.....

I have all the Coda manuals and documentation, including build sheets. Everything you need to know about this car is documented - so even though the company is out of business, you can still track down parts. I even know where there is another one just like it - as my friend also bought one and is looking to sell as he doesn't have the time/money to finish his either. It's untouched just like mine. The both of us just simply lack the financial resources to follow through with finishing up these cars. So if you want to just keep it as it is, you have resources and parts - even possibly a whole spare car.

There is very little to criticize about this car as it is BRAND NEW. I managed to find a tiny ding in one of the fenders which was there when it was delivered to me - a tiny scuff on one of the headlights on the very edge - and there is no radio/navigation system. It could use some floor mats to protect the brand new carpet. That's it. Otherwise its spotless from tires to roof. The car has 5 miles on it. It doesn't get much better than this.

I can spot you within the first 3 words. Been doing this for a long, long time. You are not going to fool me. I'm not buying under any circumstances whatsoever.
