Used 2013 CODA All-Electric *88+ mile range* - cars & trucks - by owner -... for sale in Leadville, CO

We are selling our running and driving 2013 CODA All-Electric vehicle for $4000 OBO. It has an EPA rated range of 88 miles, however, in the summertime will easily travel 100+ miles before needing to be charged. The battery capacity is 31kwh and the interior computer screen shows that it is capable of traveling up to 126 miles. All Coda's have a governed speed of 85mph and can be charged at both level 1 and level 2 charging stations. It takes approximately 5 hours for it to charge from 0-100% on a level 2 charger, although for the health of the batteries on any EV you want to avoid running the batteries too low.

These cars are unique because the manufacturer went out of business in 2013 after only delivering 117 of these vehicles. This specific vehicle has an emblem showing that it is #96. Coda's high MSRP of >$40,000 was ultimately what caused the manufacturer to go under. The vehicles were produced and sold in California and the body was modeled off of the 2005 or 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer. Although only 117 running and driving vehicles were sold, there were additional "gliders" (just the rolling body, no motor or batteries) manufactured which means that parts can be found. The motors were made by UQM Technologies out of Colorado and the company is still in business.

There are some quirks which are mentioned below:
*airbag light is on
*tire pressure light is on
*heater is intermittent
*Driver door has cosmetic damage from an accident from before we bought it. Everything works fine (i.e. windows, locks, etc.). There are a couple of minor scratches on the body from normal use. I could get a door for it that's the same or similar color, but I would charge an extra $600.
*Temperature light comes on occassionally in the winter in extreme cold, but it still drives perfectly fine and is getting coolant.

The good:
*There are no other mechanical issues.
*We fixed the water pump last year
*Interior is in pretty good shape (1 small tear in rear door vinyl and the sunglass holder doesn't stay up)
*Tires are practically new Nokian All Season EV-specific (>80% tread)
*Batteries seem to be functioning as if they are new
*Never been smoked in
*Very low mileage with lots of life left
*Leather interior is in fantastic shape

For someone with experience working on electric vehicles or a background in electronics, these quirks will probably be very easy fixes. And even with these little quirks, this vehicle has been my daily driver for the last two years. I haven't had to purchase fuel in two years!! The only reason I'm selling is because of life changes that require me to drive longer distances.

You honestly won't be able to find an EV with an 88+ mile range at this price. The batteries are worth practically what I'm asking for the entire vehicle.
