Vehicle Description
144" wheelbase 2012 Sprinter with 3.0 litre V6 diesel engine completely gone through mechanically. 79,600 miles. New front brakes, battery, lots of wear left on tires, new wipers, new headlights, oil change, fully serviced.
Less than 1 year old conversion:
- New Headunit compatible with Apple car play or Android Auto
- Backup camera
- Flarespace flares(so you can sleep sideways in the van even if well over 6 feet tall)to save room in living area while keeping the smaller wheelbase version which is much easier to park and generally get around in.
- Fully insulated with Havelock wool van insulation(resists mold, deters insects and rodents, great R-value)
- Sound dampening matting applied before build
- Maxxair power vent(can be open during rain)
- CRL side window with T-vent for added ventilation
- (2) 175 watt solar panels
- (2) 100 amp hour Battle Born lithium batteries ( almost double the life of a standard AGM battery and much less than half the weight)
- 1000 watt DC-AC converter just in case you need it( although van is fully set up to run everything through DC to conserve energy as comnverting to AC wastes energy)
- Helix queen mattress cut down a bit to fit in van.
- Dometic 35 cooler style frige/freezer
- Uses a coleman portable butane stove (to save counter space when stove is not needed)
- (2) 7 gallon water storage tanks
- 5 gallon gray water bucket( easily emptied)
- Marine foot pump operated sink( this saves so much water and is one of my favorite additions)
- Passenger seat swivel for added seating when parked
- Storage under bench/couch
- Full garage under bed for plenty of storage of gear
- Van is wired using all marine wire and components for added protection against moisture.
-This van does not have a built in bathroom. A compost or chemical toilet can be added or stored easily. I use a luggable loo for emergencies, however I am usually in or near a state park or campground where there are always numerous pit toilets.
-Van is overall in great shape, there are dings in rear doors and a dent above the drivers door though for full diclosure.
