It seems a lot of people are nervous about a vehicle that has a "Salvage" title: All Salvage means is that in order for a "Dealership" to fix the wrecked vehicle back to original - it would cost more than the Insurance company is willing to pay, typically 50% of the car's value. Cars can be flooded, have hail damage, severe sand storm damage, paint scratch the length of the vehicle or have been in wreck, all can all have Salvage titles. But a knowledgeable individual / body shop can fix the vehicle far cheaper than any dealership can. They can buy good "used" parts from another wrecked vehicle (which a Dealership can't do) and fix the vehicle back to "good" to "excellent" condition before it was wrecked. Not all individuals / body shops do the best work - so things should be inspected. Just because a vehicle has a salvage title doesn't mean it's not a very good to excellent vehicle - all depends on how it was repaired.
