Used 2012 Grey Chevrolet Malibu LS Automatic for sale in Redwood City, CA
Vehicle Description
New tires. Purchased this summer (have Walmart receipt).
Maintenance has been kept.
(See the service interval chart: I replace spark plugs, auto trans fluid, and flushed to the cooling system.
The battery is new-ish (2018)
The bad:
Cosmetically the car is not perfect. The rear has a small dent in the bumper. There are scratches here and there.
The dome light inside doesn't work. The fuse for it keeps blew, and I didn't bother to replace the bulbs.
The onboard speaking system can be quiet at times (the one that connects to Bluetooth). I found that turning off and on the car fixes it, and it hasn't bothered me enough to fix it.
Price is $5000, and I am willing to negotiate. No, I don't want any trades.
If you want a cheap, reliable commuter car, this is it. As we say in the shop, "Chevy's will run badly longer than any other car on the road". The engine and transmission are great! No problems. The small GM stuff is something you have to ask yourself if you can live with.
