**The problem with the truck**
Last month I took the truck to Lithia Chevrolet here in Helena because I lost oil pressure and they informed me that a bearing in a crank arm is going out. The mechanic at Lithia said that the bearing wearing down had made my oil "sludgy" and that is why I had lost oil pressure. He also said that this issue will continue to get worse until the bearing completely breaks. I had them change it to fresh oil and I have been able to drive it around with no issues (I have put less than 100 miles on it since I brought it in). Lithia said the course of action would be an engine rebuild or to replace it with a crate engine. I have asked around other shops in town and reduced the asking price to accommodate for the cost of the engine problems. A crate engine or the rebuild both seemed to be similar in price so I am posting this on craigslist to see if anyone is interested in the truck. If your a mechanic yourself you could make a few bucks fixing it yourself I'm sure. Or maybe your interested in getting it fixed and owning it yourself.
