Vehicle Description
Affordable luxury SUV that runs and handles very well. Ideal for an X5 enthusiast, particularly someone who can do their own work. This diesel version is highly desirable and would be a good investment. Sold as-is. CALLS ONLY, NO TEXTS. If you send an email, you must include your phone number for a call back.
Everything works. No accidents. Body and interior in very good condition. No dents, dings or scratches; a few rock chips in paint on front end, possibly an occasional nick elsewhere. Light wear on edges of leather seats consistent with age and use. Carpet soiling should clean out. Detailing would have the vehicle looking almost new.
Maintained very well until recently, including 10,000 mile oil changes using Liqui Moly long life. I've waited out the pandemic-related downturn but simply can no longer afford the vehicle. There are a few issues to deal with sooner or later, but the vehicle looks good and is safe to drive as-is:
• Front driver side bushing worn. Makes a clunking sound but has no effect on handling, just an annoying noise. Two mechanics have said car is safe to operate.
• Short crack in upper passenger side windshield. Two glass companies have determined it is in outer layer only and doesn't have to be replaced. Not in driver's line of sight.
• Creaking noise in driver side dash. Very new, haven't diagnosed source.
• Check engine light has been on for 2 years, emissions code, no effect on performance.
