This beautiful color combo (white paint over black leather) runs and drives great. It has EXTREMELY low miles for its year and make. It has not been molested by a teenager looking to make it a race car. In fact it has not been molested at all. The car is completely STOCK. The leather is in top condition and the tiptronic AUTO transmission shifts like a dream, just like it should. The paint looks great from a far, however there is some peeling (as shown on the rear bumper). The car is NOT the turbo model, and therefore does not have the issues and maintenance associated with BMW's turbo/twinturbo motors such as the N54/N55 motors. It also SIPS gas! It is not a race car, however handles great with weight distribution every enthusiast craves in a RWD car. It is a fun little car to throw around in the turns on its robust 18 inch wheels. We just had a flat tire on the passenger side front, which we replaced from another (same size) 1 series. I believe in full disclosure, as you can see by my feedback. This family goes through cars very frequently, and it was the wive's second car. It appears the car has been in a light front end 'fender bender' as there is a small gap between the front bumper and fenders. The airbags are intact and the front lights are in great shape, showing no signs of a significant impact. The car tracks straight as an arrow, which can be proven by taking your hands off the steering wheel.
Ok so you made it this far, here are the issues:
Paint on the rear bumper is peeling, The air conditioning could definitely blow colder, It does not appear to leak and I will charge it up immediately as that SHOULD fix it. The car should get a brake service soon, as the indicator is on dash, however the car stops fine and ABS works properly. There is a small surface whole in the track where the roof rack would mount - almost resembling a bullet hole, but is clearly not and no rust near or on it. The car was in a small frontal collision and has since been repaired (I personally think they could have done a better job; however its all there. The car has brand new LED/HID headlamps. The seatbelt tensioner on the driver's side is not working properly, however can be had at an extremely low cost - if not free. Being a part of the airbag system (as they tension when the bags deploy, they are part of a safety system and I must disclose no matter how trivial: "Ricers" or "racers' change the seats out to racing seats and discard that part for free or pennies on the dollar. The part being bad DOES illuminate the airbag light, however the bags are good, and new (along with the clock spring) As mentioned above the "service engine light" is on (could be anything from a loose gas cap and beyond) No CLUE on my end - I Love BMWs but am NOT a mechanic! The car has tinted windows, done tastefully. This is aa private sale and the car is sold AS IN so please check it out or have it checked out - although it would be hard to lose at this price!! I do have connections with shippers so depending where the car is going, I can most likely facilitate shipping at a lower cost.
The car DOES indeed have the cold weather package with the HEATED STEERING WHEEL and power black leather seats. It has USB/AUX inputs for music. Although the CEL is illuminating,the car runs well and appears to need a basic tune up (plugs and wires)

Kelly Blue Book (I know who cares what KBB says) places the value over $10,000. There is enough room in this vehicle's price should any small (or large) repairs need to be addressed and a PPI (3rd party pre purchase inspections) are welcomed, but at the cost of the buyer. I am looking for a quick sale as we simply do not have enough room in our garage to keep it. If you are thinking that you have seen this vehicle on Craigslist last week, the car was held under a sizable deposit and the gentleman purchasing the car was so busy he couldn't make it, so I have re-listed it (he claims he is still buying the vehicle - next week - however, in the mean time it is back on the open market. I am not sure of the laws in each state regarding emissions, as the check engine light is on, however if you are serious about the car - we can address that upon purchase. It did pass CT emissions, although I am not sure how long ago (verifiable on the CT DMV website) I am NOT a dealer and cannot offer any sort of warranty on this vehicle, although aftermarket warranties are always available (I can attest to this as telemarketers call us every night during dinner regarding extended warranties lol) Please do not hesitate to ask any and all questions BEFORE BIDDING, and I will be happy to assist answering them to the best of my knowledge. . Shipping can be arranged at the cost of the buyer, and locals are invited to come see it (local being close to the 06606 zip or 203 area code) I'm sure you've heard the phrase "Gone in 60 Seconds" well this car will be "Gone in 72 Hours"! The car is NOT perfect but anything wrong is fairly minor. Again this is a PRIVATE PARTY AS IS SALE. Compare this vehicle to other BMW 128i coupes for sale (locally or afar) for this price! Especially with 46,xxx miles! Especially in this color combo!

THE CAR IS IN OVERALL GOOD SHAPE, Its runs and drives fine, however does have a CEL light on dash. Fresh Oil, but will need front brakes. There is a small separation on the front bumper between fender and can be adjusted. Some paint on rear bumper is starting to peel. All minor issues and the low price reflects these imperfections. Small issues can be fixed, just look how low the miles are!
