Used 2011 Audi S5 Prestige Coupe custom tune 407HP V8, auto xmsn, many... for sale in Concord, MA

Fellow enthusiasts-

I'm selling Ava, my first "real" Audi (not counting the bone stock B7 A4 that got me hooked). Reason for sale - upgraded to an RS5. Car is located in the Boston metro area, and yes, I'm willing to ship so long as the buyer pays and coordinates. Currently sitting with 100,700 miles.

1) HISTORY: I'm the third owner, since about 65k. Exterior Phantom Black Pearl, interior black leather. 6-speed automatic. ALL options except adaptive headlights and Audi Side Assist. Exterior and interior were in excellent condition for the year/mileage at the time of purchase. I would now rate the exterior as "good" and the interior still as "very good" to "excellent." There are some scuffs on the 19" wheels, and a couple of scratches on the paint; the worst of which is one gouge a couple inches long in the driver's door from where the car was hit by road shrapnel while I was stopped and waiting to turn left (oncoming car hit a sign in the median next to me and sent it flying... the SUV behind me did not fare so well but Ava sustained only a glancing blow). Normal 100k worth of wear on the driver's side seat bolster. She was, to my knowledge, never tracked by the previous owners. I went to a single SCCA "Track Night in America" event last year, though to be honest I didn't consider the driving to be any more "spirited" than what I've experienced on the right open roads... speeds barely topped 100 mph on the longest stretch of the track (the only area where I could go WOT) and the rest were just a series of tight twists and turns. The car had an APR Stage III Supercharger kit on her from about 40k miles through about 98k miles. Late last year, the S/C coolant pump stopped running due to a wiring fault, causing the car to run with abnormally high IATs for a week or so before I noticed and corrected the problem. Unfortunately, the damage was done... Cylinder #8 started misfiring a couple weeks later, then threw a rod shortly thereafter (late OCT 2019). I had the car brought to M2 MotorTechnik, which is only about an hour from here, where they swapped out the motor with one pulled from a 2012 with 67k miles. I left the S/C off to sell separately (in order to help defray repair costs).

2) CURRENT CONDITION: At installation, the motor had a full carbon clean, new plugs, PCV, starter, alternator, tensioner, and serpentine belt. Once reinstallation was complete, they did a custom dyno tune and squeaked out 301 AWHP on 93 octane... the stock S5 v8 is rated at 354 crank HP and puts out just 262 AWHP on that dyno. Assuming drivetrain losses are (354-262)/354 = ~26%, that puts Ava at 407 crank HP after her "heart transplant" and "brain surgery"... a 53hp increase! I got her back just before Christmas and drove her happily for a few months until an RS5 popped up at a price I couldn't refuse. All other maintenance is current, to include recent transmission fluid flush/replacement and filter change (at 75k), replacement of lower control arms, and a rebuild of the adjustable upper control arms (both at 85k). Brakes and tires have plenty of meat left on both. No check engine lights, no rough running issues.

2) KNOWN ISSUES:
a- The A/C may need a recharge.
b- There is a leak or disconnection somewhere in the headlight washer fluid lines, and you lose fluid if you fill too full. Probably just need to pull the front bumper off and hit the sprayer and you'll find it quickly enough, but it's not obvious from the top of the engine bay nor easy to see with the street shield on the bottom.
c- The moonroof shade sags like it does on most 5 series... a $250 fix plus about an hour of your time, if you're so inclined. I never use the thing so it was a non-issue for me.
d- Occasionally, when you shut her off, she thinks she's not in park and will beep at you. A quick nudge of the shifter shuts her up. Probably just needs a microswitch adjusted.
e- There's some vibration at well-above-speed-limit speeds that I believe is a result of one of the 19" wheels needing a rebalance. It doesn't happen with the 18" set on there.

Sale includes Verde Empire V44 graphite 18" x 9.5 rims with Bridgestone Blizzak winter tires used for two seasons, as well as the proper matching lug nuts.

4) PRICING:
Average KBB private party value for a stock vehicle of this year, mileage, and condition (average between good $13.75k & very good $15.5k) is around $14.5k. I'm adding 50% of the cost of the installed mods ($5k) to establish a baseline price of $19.5k. Discounting for the known issues and for the sake of a quick sale, I think $16k is pretty fair to ask. Willing to go to $15k without winter tires if you don't want them... though around here I can tell you they are worth it!
