Get ready for the snow with a well taken care of Jeep Patriot 4WD. I have been the one and only single owner of this vehicle, bought new from a dealership in Lakewood area. I have been very diligent servicing and maintaining the vehicle over the years, only used Synthetic Oil every 5 thousand miles. My local mechanic shops have done a great job servicing and replacing parts as they wore out, including sway bar, tire rods, wheel bearings, brakes, rotors, any leaks, etc. No engine or transmission issues… This may seem odd to say, but after putting in the money to get this car completely fixed up and with the lightly used tires all season Continental tires, this car drives smoother, cleaner, and more powerful than it has since I bought it due to all the upgrades I have made.
There has been many, many upgrades to this car over time, only about 3 years ago, I installed gently used full black leather seats front and back into this car from a new Jeep Compass at the time, which was salvaged. Other features below:
- Uhaul installed Trailer Hitch with electrical connection, installed 4 years ago or so
- Rigid Industrial LED Fog Lights ($600 at the time)
- Catback exhaust system (installed at Mountain Muffler) much lighter, good sound, more power, better gas mileage
- Car chip for better gas mileage
- K&N Air Intake system (cleaned regularly, more power, better gas mileage, less maintenance than filters)
- Stock upgrade Premium Sound System, very good sound, better than most cars today, I will miss this, integrated hard-drive for music storage if wanted, DVD player, AUX connection
- Bosch premium wipers, front & rear.
As the car is 10 years old, there are scratches, scrapes, and dents, but they are in my opinion, minor and artificial, the cost to repair these at the time was not worth it from my perspective.
