Used 2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid for sale in Columbia, MO
Vehicle Description
I regularly get 26 – 27 MPG on the highway but it can get even better mileage in town which is where the Hybrid really shines.
The engine has no issues and the transmission shifts smooth. It runs and drives as it should and handles GREAT on snow covered roads.
It is fuel efficient and 4 x 4, equipped with a sunroof, tan leather seats, key-less entry, power steering w/ tilt, power windows, power mirrors and power locks, AM FM CD
The ABS and brake light came on a couple of months ago which affected braking (I could still lock the brakes up if needed but it was very noticeable that ABS wasn’t functioning) The issue pointed to a problem with the ABS module or inadequate grounding of the ABS module. Ford has a Technical Service Bulletin (#SSM-45870) about this issue so I had a mechanic install the wiring assembly (ford part 8M6Z-13N850-A) to properly ground the ABS and haven’t experienced the issue since.
There is a rust spot on the driver’s rear fender well shown in the pictures. The driver’s door gasket could stand to be replaced as the seat belt has damaged an area of it, and I only have 1 key fob (The Ford dealer I purchased the vehicle from only provided one)
The interior is clean; the leather seats are in excellent condition. There are a few dings and small scratches on the exterior. Overall the vehicle looks great for a 2008.
I had a new windshield installed May, 2018, new tires in July (1,024 miles on them) and a fresh oil change on 9/12/19. I don’t remember the date brakes and rotors were changed but they are in good shape.
No trouble lights on the dash, current inspection sticker, all manufacturer recalls have been done.
