Used 2008 Hyundai Elantra for sale in Redway, CA
Vehicle Description
This Hyundai Elantra is fun to drive and gets great gas mileage (33mpg). The car has had one owner (my girlfriend bought it new in 2008, I bought it from her last year) and has been regularly maintained. The a/c and heat both work very well. I put 4 brand new tires on the car last month ($800 value) and had the brakes serviced. The car handles very nicely. I am selling the car because I live rurally and off dirt roads, and while the front wheel drive has been able to impressively handle everywhere I have taken it, I need a four wheel drive vehicle instead. I was planning on driving it across the country this summer and am fully confident in its ability to make that trip.
There are a few reasons why the car is priced so low. First, the rear power windows don't work. They are stuck in the up position and are a cheap fix. Second, I recently accidentally put a dent in the muffler due to driving the before mentioned country roads. It does not affect the way the car drives at all. The third reason has to do with the transmission. Two years ago the car was having trouble shifting gears so I had the transmission serviced and the problem went away mostly. Every once in a while (it's rare) the car will will jerk as it shifts into 4th gear (I think it's 4th, might be 3rd). And equally as rare the car will struggle going up very steep hills. If you test drive the car you will probably never experience these issues, because, like I said, they occur rarely. I just want to be very up front about the car. This would be a great car for someone who does their driving in cities and on the highway.
