Used 2008 Ford Escape XLT AWD for sale in WAUKEE, IA
Vehicle Description
-151,000 miles, clean title
- Automatic, AWD
- Car drives/shifts good, all functions work
- Comes with matching floor covers/mats
- Interior and exterior in overall good shape, no rips/tears/stains
- rust over the wheel wells (very common on these Escapes)
- Just had a full tune up and fully serviced, everything looks great (minus what's listed below)
- Have most service records, from 2008.
Cons/Maintenance:
- We purchased this vehicle with around 50,000 miles, and has around 150,000 now. It has had the check engine light come on and off since we've had it. (O2 Sensors, you can verify with a reader if you'd like, it's very random, and we just never messed with getting it deleted)
- Climate Control - AC/Heat works great, but needs a $20.00 regulator switch replaced to have all controllable functions. Advanced Auto Parts has this part in stock, and is easily fixable. I had to change it out a few years ago, and have the SKU# available, for purchase.
- Analog brakes sometimes catch/grip in the front drivers side wheel, but I just got that completely overhauled this last month. New rotor/pad/caliper/bled/flushed, etc., so hopefully that issue is gone.
- New battery/tires/brakes, in the last year or two
- Transmission/Radiator/Brake flushes all in the last year
- New Spark Plugs in the last year
- Water Pump and belt need replaced soon ($900.00 parts/labor charge)
I do not need help selling this car, nor do I need to sell this car. It serves as a great back up and utility vehicle, please let me know if you're interested.
KBB and NADA both put this car around $4,900-$5,900 in good condition.
