Used 2008 Ford E250 wheel chair Van for sale in Tyler, TX
Vehicle Description
We bought it in January 2019
and immediately had engine checked out for optimal performance and had suspension serviced including all new shocks, new tires, ball joints and more. We have over 27k invested including Jan.2019 Texas State safety inspection. This has a clear Texas title that states 'rebuilt salvage' but has been restored and all handicap aids were installed after the restoration.
We since drove it from Texas to Ohio and back to bring my Mother down to live with us and it performed great. Motorized chair currently connects with EZ lock junction. Also has four tie downs in the center of the cab for a regular or second wheel chair.
It's equipment includes cruise control, strong A/C, automatic side door control, automatic under carriage (takes up no cab room and allows you to stand up inside) hydrolic wheel chair lift,
Two batteries, 3 person back seat folds to bed. Recessed interior lights along with ambient lighting. Radio with CD and TV with DVD. New tire covers, new vehicle cover still in box.
Also comes with hand controls to be driven without use of legs if that were the case. Some of the carpet and rubber trim in the front cab driver area could use a little TLC but it's just cosmetics.
All in all very nice and reliable transportation.
We are including the motorized wheel chair which new was over 10k. It works perfectly and has its own battery charger and it's a reclining back. Also had added rear controls so someone can control from behind.
We are basically selling the vehicle for what the handicap accessories cost!
