Used 2007 Toyota RAV4 Limited 4WD for sale in Missoula, MT

This car, owned only by my parents and recently given to me, was driven across country from Upstate New York a couple weeks ago (it passed NY inspection a couple months ago - the reason for replacing some of the suspension). I think the value of this vehicle in this market is actually about $7,700, but I posted it for $6,000 based on an issue that is known to these vehicles.
1. Rear differential coupler bearing growl: Sometimes, at medium speeds, you hear a whirring or 'growling' sounds coming from the rear of the vehicle (it is noticeable but not overly distracting or anything). This was long ago (4 years or so) diagnosed as a 'contaminated bearing in the rear differential', and Toyota actually had this occur on enough vehicles that they issued an extended warranty to have it replaced. My folks did get it diagnosed, but the part was on such back order that they ended up letting the extended warranty pass. This partly happened because it did not compromise performance, and it did not progress. Often rear differential noise is an indication that it is going bad, but Toyota did not recall it or admit that it was a faulty part. This sound has been happening for at least 50,000 miles. I'm not sure if it will ever fail, as it is specific to this differential design and there have been no signs of worsening. If it did worsen, then I'd think additional differential symptoms would occur and it would need to be replaced (hence the cheaper price for a RAV4 of this mileage and age).
