Just about finished this subie up and want to get a manual/turbo one. Bought it initially to swap, but ultimately decided not to take that project on. List of work done (less than 10 miles ago)
Complete engine gasket/seal change and head resurfacing, including, but not limited to changing: head gaskets, valve stem seals, intake manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets, etc
Trans swap with an 05 impreza with 20k miles (all seals and filters changed, fluids flushed, and harness sealed)
Starter (ac Delco)
Alternator (denso)
Battery
Plugs and wires (ngk)
Coil (ngk)
Radiator (denso)
Water pump and timing belt (gates)
Cooling Hoses
AC seals
Pads and rotors front and rear (power stop)
Cv axles and axle seals (Subaru dealer parts)
Sway bar links
Shocks feel great so I left them
Control arms/ball joints are getting there but Subaru has a recall on them. I already called the dealer in Countryside, they checked the VIN, and all you have to do is bring it in. 100 percent free.
Again, this is a turn key car. There isn't a thing left to break on this car. Looks for reliable? This is it. All this work was done with great care using quality parts.
