Items replaced or repaired (some of this work can be seen in videos on the above channel):
New front tires
Rebuilt transmission to fix 3rd gear popup - new fluid as well
Replaced AC compressor clutch and coil - AC cold once again
New battery
Restored headlights
Attached front bumper to passenger side a bit better than it was (not perfect)
Rear shocks replaced
Added missing lug nuts
Power locks fixed
Front passenger swaybar endlink replaced
Engine oil+filter changed
Parking brake adjusted
New spark plugs
Remaining issues:
- Tire pressure light on - sensors need replaced - $320 estimate. Cheaper to do whenever the tires are replaced.
- I am unable to program the OEM key fob I bought for the car. Watched all the YouTube videos - I just can't get it to work.
- Rust on the rear fenders and on trunk around the rear brake light. Previous owner covered it up a bit with some sort of black paint. Looks better than it would without it.
The interior and exterior have wear (see rust note above), but there no tears in the leather seats. The steering wheel leather is worn and could use a cover. Since whatever I cover I would get would likely not be preferred by the buyer, I chose not to get one and let the buyer purchase one if they prefer.
The car runs perfectly. Engine, clutch, and brakes are strong. 3rd gear no longer pops out and all gears shift perfectly. AC is cold, cruise control works perfectly, the stereo does its thing, and the heated seats are wonderful on cool days.
