Bought this March, as I needed something large and enclosed because of all the rain we had this year. This wagon fit the bill nicely for my business. But as a car guy, I have a hard time leaving any vehicle stock, so I came up with Retro-Modern Speed Wagon Concept. She was rough when I took possession, so immediately went to work; deep-cleaned the interior, polished out the paint, debadged the fenders and door bumpers, added premium Pedders suspension and the beautiful polish-lipped US Mag Rambler wheels. I then serviced the major drivetrain components to make it reliable, safe, and fun to drive.

I’ve always been a Magnum fan since they came out in 2005. They incorporate everything I like in a vehicle; styling, looks, well equipped, comfort (have you seen the back seat!), cargo space, and performance. After purchasing the Mag, I discovered these LX-Platforms (Magnum, Charger, and Chrysler 300) were all based on Mercedes E-Series chassis; explains why they’re so comfortable and handle well for a large vehicle. Had a blast taking it to Vegas and Sacramento/Sequoia this summer. Hands down one of my favorite vehicles I have owned.

HOWEVER, I spend 95% of my time driving alone and just don’t need a vehicle this size any longer. It served me very well for what I needed at the time, allowed me to put my style and care into it, kept the miles off my off-road truck, but now getting something compact.
