One owner Non-smoker 2006 Dodge 3500 DRW SLT Bighorn 4x4 5.9L Cummins Diesel 325/610 6 speed Manual 105,000 miles. Power driver's seat, sliding rear window, leather steering wheel, tcase skid plate, cargo lamp, and engine block heater.

I bought this pickup in 2006 to tow our RV knowing it was probably my last chance to purchase a high performance diesel without being plagued with the problems that were sure to come from later emissions equipment equipped powerplants........Boy was I was right?

As an automotive tech by trade, I don't like to purchase vehicles pre-owned.....I want to know all history and that every aspect of the repairs were done properly. I assembled what I believe as the perfect tow vehicle by selecting parts that would add safety, comfort, and reliability to enhance our travel experiences while on the road. This truck was retired from tow duty almost 6 years ago when I decided to go big and purchase a Peterbilt (Also For Sale). Since then, it's been used like a car which is kind of silly. We're getting out of RV's and decided it's time to downsize the fleet!

History: Following the initial 1,000 mile drivetrain break in including two heavy tows in the mountains.....Every gearbox fluid was drained and replaced with Amsoil Synthetic. At 3,500ish miles the engine oil was replaced with Amsoil Synthetic at which time I added the Amsoil bypass oil filter system to further filter the fine particles out of the oil. Coolant, power steering, and brake fluid was also changed to Amsoil. Since this time, only Amsoil fluids, grease, and filters have ever been used. I also add WS2 Powder (Search that) to the engine oil. Front ball joints were replaced w/ Spicer at 52K miles when the freespin kit and gears were changed as preventative knowing this is a weakness in these trucks. Had the #4 injector coil open circuit back in 2016 at around 98K miles and swapped it with a Bosch replacement. Right at 50K the clutch on the A/C compressor let go....Replaced with an OEM compressor and added a de-slugger box to reduce the load when first engaging. Fuel economy has been as low as 6.8mpg towing a high profile 5th into a serious headwind at 70+mph and as high as 22.4mpg unloaded on flat terrain at 55 mph. She has a few flaws in the paint and no dents, but still very nice considering the age.....Like rock chips in the rear dually fenders. Interior is clean.....I had seat covers and dash mat on the whole time of ownership. In 2012 a deer ran into the drivers side bed denting the sheet metal and destroying the fiberglass fender...I replaced with a clean used bed.

Truck has been inspected/serviced, detailed, and is ready to work.....Literally TURN KEY! New brakes were recently installed, DOT 4 Brake fluid flushed, coolant tested, oil/filter changed, air filter cleaned/oiled, chassis lubed, and smogged.
