Used 2006 Chrysler Sebring Touring Sedan for sale in Antioch, TN

CLEAN TITLE

I am the second owner of this car. I bought it in Jan 2008. I have not had pets or smoking in it. It's a fun car to drive and pretty comfortable. I have kept up the maintenance pretty good and fixed things when they needed fixing. It's not in perfect condition, and I will disclose everything I know about it. Read to the end to decide if you might be interested.

CONS
- driver's window and rear passenger window do not work. The other ones do.
- the horn blows constantly unless the fuse is out. With the fuse out, it doesn't work.
- when you turn the volume on the radio, it sometimes jumps from low to high.
- A/C: you can charge this and it will be freezing cold for a while. Then it seems to run down. I had a good mechanic do a pressure check and he could not find any leaks. I don't know what the problem is. I just charged it for the heat of summer and let it run down.
- the hood is dented from running under a big truck bumper
- on the front bumper, in the middle on the bottom, and on the driver side, the bumper is ripped. This car was repossessed before I got it, and the repo man must have just stuck a hook under the front and dragged it off. These rips have been like that since I got it and I just left them.
- there is a bit of hail damage on the roof
- the front struts are a little bouncy. Never bothered me, but just wanted you to know.
- IMPORTANT: last time I drove this car was in February and it overheated. I took it in and had a mechanic check it. He didn't get any codes to read on his equipment. Personally, I THINK it might be a catalytic converter. (Apparently this car has two? Or two parts of it, or two sensors?) I am NOT a mechanic and don't really know. I had a new cat converter put on a couple years ago but maybe there is an issue. Then I found a good deal on a Prius and did not need to solve that issue. IT MAY OVERHEAT ON YOU AS YOU DRIVE IT AWAY! It also may not; I just don't know and if this is a deal breaker for you then I certainly understand and don't want to waste anybody's time.

PROS
- the radio works
- the CD player works
- the heater works great
- here's the thing that makes this car a good deal in spite of all the above:

Like I said, I am not a mechanic. So when something went wrong I took it to a good one and got it fixed. In other words, I don't know what that heat issue was in February, but I don't think you're going to find a zillion things wrong with this car besides what I noted.

Note especially: In September 2016, I had the whole engine rebuilt. It was a costly job, but cheaper for me than a new car at the time. The mileage on that service ticket said 105213, but the engine block we put in only had 98,000 on it. So that's like 7000 free miles. And you're getting a car with the most important guts of it replaced about 13,000 miles and just 5 years ago.
