Used 2006 Chevy HHR runs but needs work, has hitch, clean title - cars & for sale in Manor, TX
Vehicle Description
This car has a lot of issues. It does run, but has electrical, oil leaks, transmission issues and I think needs timing chain replaced. I was going to fix electrical issues, put more transmission fluid in it and get it inspected for another year. but it did develop acceleration problems that make it tricky to drive. It will get up to highway speeds but it takes a while.
On the good side it does run, body is in fair shape, it has a class 1 or 2 hitch and wiring and I have a good clean title. Also HHR's are cool.
I took out the donut spare tire and replaced it with a full size tire. I used a trailer quite often and a donut spare does not work when you have a heavy trailer.
I started replacing the rims with aluminum, but only have one.
Fairly good rubber on it. it should pass inspection tire wise, though no guarantee.
This is not a get the keys and turn around and use as daily driver. It will need work.
If it does need timing chain, keep in mind HHR's do not always throw a code for timing chain when one is needed (i think that code is P2019). The engine does not need pulled on an HHR to replace timing chain. Those kits go from $100 to $300.
