Used 2005 Volkswagen Passat TDI Diesel Wagon for sale in Wolf Creek, OR

Vehicle Description

For sale here is a 2005 Volkswagen Passat TDI Wagon with a diesel engine that starts right up, runs great, and gets great mileage, but it does have transmission issues. Other than a small rust hole in the driver's side fender the body is in great shape for a vehicle its age, as is the paint. As you can see, other than the rip in the side of the driver's side seat, the interior is also in really nice shape. It is a super deluxe model with a ton of options such as sunroof, burl wood and leather interior, 6 disk cd changer, e-locker in front end etc. It has many more options and deluxe features, some of which I am still discovering. The problem is that although it runs and drives great, the transmission suddenly started making a grinding sound, and then when I parked it there was a little puddle of oil under it. After it left a little puddle ( about a cup of oil) it quit leaking and didn't leak anymore. It can be driven up onto a trailer, but probably needs some transmission oil and definitely needs to be fixed. It also recently had a lot of work and money in new parts put into it. With a new or rebuilt transmission it would make someone a really great car. The high price of fuel these days makes this diesel wagon not only a comfortable and roomy vehicle, but also a very practical one since it will save you a lot of money in fuel expenses over time.
It does have a clear Oregon title. Below is a list of things that have been done to it along with some other information.

It is one of 3300 imported from Germany that year.
It has been well maintained and has been serviced using all Amzoil fluids since 2014 (205,000 miles to present).

Front passenger window regulator
New brake system consisting of new rotor, pads, master cylinder, reservoir etc. (over $1200 in receipts)
Alternator
Pirelli Cinturato P7 Plus all-season tires
Timing belt, water pump, etc.
Headlight assemblies
Taillight assemblies
