Used 2005 Subaru Forester for sale in Kailua-Kona, HI
Vehicle Description
Pros:
- New tires
- recent alignment
- New wiper blades
- AC runs cold
- Recent tune up of belts
- engine will run forever
- AWD (great for trips up to Mauna Kea!)
- Safety check ready (expires in June)
Cons:
- Burns oil. (To be expected with all Subaru's of this age. I add a 1/2 quart every two or three weeks.
- Check engine light indicates catalytic converter is out (This does not effect performance. Only an issue in cities / states with smog restrictions. I can give you my mechanics number to talk to him about it.)
- Drivers side window sometimes sticks when down but always goes back up again after a brief pause.
- Rear door struts no longer hold it up (broom handle does the job)
- Sunglass storage on dash pops open
- Salvaged title (has presented no issues)
