Lots of new parts. Details below.

The entire front suspension (struts, tie rods, control arms, sway links and bushings, axles, wheel bearings, ball joints) has been replaced. Rear shocks and bearings, too. Not because it necessarily needed all this stuff, but because it is SOOOO nice to have a car with a tight suspension, that drives straight, and stays straight. Handles like the day it was new.

Tires in great shape (see pics).

All brakes replaced (calipers, pads, rotors). Brakes are strong, silent and vibration-free. Wheels recently balanced. Recent four-wheel alignment.

Heated front seats. Power driver’s seat. Leather in very good shape.

Power windows. Power heated mirrors. Back up camera. Carpeted floor mats in outstanding condition. 8 passenger (includes center jump seat for 2nd row).

RES - ‘rear entertainment system’, DVD with 2nd row drop-down screen. Includes wireless headphones.

NAV - navigation system, updated with the 2014 maps.

Stereo has an iPod and AUX interface. You can leave an ipod connected in the glove box and control it from the steering wheel, and song info display on the screen, or you can connect to the headphone connector on an iPod, mp3 player or cell phone. The phone holder is fastened to the dash, and the power and audio cables are routed behind the dash to the base of the holder. See pics.

This car has been meticulously maintained - far more than most people would have done. I’m a mechanical engineer and I do all the work myself, so the only cost is parts. Any click, thump, rattle, squeak, etc was tirelessly hunted down and fixed. I have all repair records since I bought it in 2012, and I have copies of the original owner’s maintenance records from day one from Herb Chambers in Westborough.

Here are some of the highlights of what’s been done to this car since 2012.

Oil changes every 7500 using synthetic oil.

Timing belt and water pump changed by the prior owner.

2012: Bought the car with 150k. Transmission flush (a true 'flush' not a 'drain and fill') and filter change.

2013: Tires. Spark plugs, air filter. Front lower control arms, sway bar links and bushings, inner and outer tie rod ends, alignment.

2014: Rear shocks, tire rotation, alignment. Brake pads and brake fluid flush.

2015: Pair of tires - front.

2016: Left and right axles, front wheel bearings and ball joints.

2017: Rear wheel bearings. Rear brake rotors. Pair of tires – rear. Balance tires. Alignment. Sway links. Upper motor mount.

2018: Rear brake pads. Starter (wasn't actually the problem), alternator (was the problem), serp tensioner, serp belt. Battery. Front struts. 4 wheel alignment. Coolant flush. Power steering flush.

2019: Engine valve adjustment. These engines need a valve tappet adjustment at 200k – a tedious and expensive (typically over $500) project at a shop because it takes several hours, but it made a huge difference in power and got rid of an engine shake at idle. If this fix isn't done it can lead to engine damage down the line. I would guess that very few people bother to do this, but the engine is running like new again. This project included replacing intake manifold gaskets, injector seals, cleaning the throttle body, etc. All stuff that I would guess almost no one does. Front calipers, rotors, pads. Power steering high pressure hose.

Yes, this car has 200k. But the things that need to be done at or by 200k have been done, and lots more. Much more than most people would ever bother with. This car is a bargain for the condition it's in. It's worth a test drive.

NADA puts a 'clean retail' (from a dealer) price on this car with 202k at over $4800. KBB.com puts this car in 'good' condition with this mileage, private sale in a range of $2600 to $4800 with a midpoint of $3700.
