New Continental tires, water pump and thermostat, both control arms and ball joints, new ignition switch, spark plugs and ignition coils, ignition switch, variable valve timing oil pipe, all fluids including oil and filter, transmission flush and filter, change front and rear differential fluid, change transfer case fluid, new radiator overflow tank to the tune of $3675.
HID headlights, XDRIVE which is BMW'S full time 4wd system, heated seats and steering wheel, 8 way power seats, panoramic sunroof. I got 25 mpg on its trip to Nashville recently.
Wife needs something bigger so X3 has to go.
Full disclosure. Windshield washers not operating. Sometimes when it rains heavy some water will get into rear left side footwell. This is due to the plastic vapor barrier underneath the door panel needing re gluing or replacement. About one hour of labor. I have removed all foam under that area of carpet so it dries quickly without fear of mold.
Occasionally on hard acceleration up steep grades you will feel slight shudder. This is due to slight wear on the plastic cog in the transfer case solenoid. Simple job, shown on YouTube, it never bothered me so i never replaced it.
I have priced the X3 accordingly below KBB.
