Vehicle Description
The Good:
-registration good until February 2022
-clean title
-front brakepads/rotors changed at 120,000
-All new tires at 120,000
-Timing belt/water pump changed at 115,000
-Both rear wheel bearings replaced at 130,000
-oil cooler gasket replaced at 117,000
-coolant change at 117,000
-oil change every 3000 miles
-upgraded stereo (bluetooth, SD card, aux cable, touchscreen)
-nicely optioned (heated seats/antifog mirrors)
-AC blows cold
-AWD
-decent MPG (22) for AWD crossover
The Bad:
-minor cosmetic damage (scratches/stains) inside and out
-white resin/glue fix on back interior from previous owner
-needs new rear brakepads
-front windshield is cracked
-driver side mirror is broken
-dent in front and rear bumper
-stereo roughly cut into trim
The Ugly:
This will need a new/rebuilt transmission for longtime/longrange use. I've lost 3rd gear, so it will drive, just not very fast (~35 mph top speed). Unsafe to drive on the highway, but can be driven around town/doesn't need a local tow.
This has been my commuter car/surfmobile/makeshift campsite for the past few years. Was just about to strap up and fix the body issues when the tranny went. Unfortunately not in the cards for me to rebuild and keep the car so selling "As is" for a project car/subaru enthusiast. Not 4WD, but AWD.
