* 4WD (sooo much better than all-wheel, trust me)
* All-terrain tires less than 2 years old, paid $740 in July 2019 (rotated with every oil change)
* Leather interior
* Heated seats!
* Heat works great
* Brand spankin’ new windshield
* New battery in Oct 2020
* New starter in December 2018
* Power seats/locks/windows
* 3rd row seat (collapsible)
* 4 bucket seats
* Sunroof
* 6-disc CD changer
* Keyless entry code system
* Tow hitch
* Roof rack
* Clean title, NO ACCIDENTS
The “not that good but not terrible”
* Front bumper is slightly dented/damaged (someone backed into it at some point which is lame)
* Small crack in top of hatchback (this is a very common defect in this era of Explorers and doesn’t affect anything, it’s just ugly)
* Driver seat leather is slightly worn but, hey, it’s a 16 year old vehicle so......
* Radio doesn’t work too well... it only picks up one station (hope you like country!), been that way since I bought it
* A/C needs to be charged but definitely works
* Tire pressure sensor no longer works but the car does still warn you when tires are very low
* Other minor cosmetic defects I can walk you through when you look at it, all that could easily be repaired.
Asking $4500 OBO and PLEASE do not low-ball me. This car, in its current condition and miles has a Blue Book value of around $4000 so my asking price reflects what I’ve recently put into it. I’ve taken great care of this car even through many camping and fishing trips. It’s got a lot of life left in it if you keep up the maintenance and will get you through even the worst winter conditions.
Every major repair over the last few years was done by a very skilled and trusted private mechanic who I’m happy to refer you to.
