We purchased the vehicle with 51,158 miles on it, on March 7, 2006, and have owned it ever since, and taken many cross-country road trips in it. We have had the vehicle professionally serviced every 3,000 - 5,000 miles (oil change, new oil filter, new air filter, new fluids, etc.) We have never had to take this SUV to the dealership for any issues, other than for recalls and regular maintenance items. The tires are relatively new, with only around 8,000 miles on them. Everything works great, but the SUV does have some dings and scratches here and there, to be expected for its age and mileage.
