Vehicle Description
The car starts, stops and goes around corners; the heater’s hot, the A/C’s cold and the radio-CD-cassette makes music; the windows go up & down and all the lights light up; the brake disks are straight and the pads have meat; the transmission’s smooth and the engine’s tight and burns no oil.
The car has two chip keys but no radio key fob. It has a hop-a-long spare.
Problems: The airbag light comes on and goes off randomly (Wear your seatbelt); The tires are still good but pretty worn, need to check the pressure every two weeks; sometimes the windshield wiper switch doesn’t select the right speed and it needs to be flipped around a bit; there are a lot of little scratches in the paint clear coat; the driver’s seat has a couple small tears you can see in the picture; the dashboard under the windshield has a couple of heat cracks.
Salvage Title: Before I bought it, the car had rear end damage right around the license plate that bent some sheet metal and tore the bumper cover. I am assuming that the cost of having a body shop straighten the metal and buy a new big $$ bumper cover was enough that the insurance company salvaged it. The sheet metal is bent back pretty much straight, the trunk opens and closes fine. I have repaired the tears in the bumper cover. (See Picture) It has no other body damage.
