Vehicle Description
This is the LS trim which includes 4x4, Z71 suspension, under truck rock guards, premium Bose sound system, pw, pl, leather seats, power seat & more.
Includes a Reese Pro 15,000lb 5th wheel hitch, folding hard tourneau cover, brake controller, nice tint on windows. Also includes a HyperTech power programmer with 3 stages of HP and torque boost, but truck is not currently programmed. This came with the truck when I bought it and I have used a stage 1 program a couple times when towing 5th wheel camper, I never saw the need to keep it boosted.
Fuel injectors replaced right about 100,000 miles (1 went bad and 3 were showing out of spec).
Just replaced all brake lines with new stainless steel lines along with new brake master cylinder and, of course, all new brake fluid. Recent engine oil and filter change. Recent filter & fluid change on the Allison transmission.
A few years ago the truck developed a mild surge or lope at idle. I've had it looked at and was told could be FPR or vacuum but never had work done since it didn't bother me and wasn't noticeable with normal driving.
The windshield has a vertical crack right about middle of the windshield that runs top to bottom (see pic). The crack doesn't affect visibility.
About 6 months ago it developed a power steering fluid leak. I'm not sure if it's a line or a gasket/seal. I've just been sure to keep an eye on fluid level and top off as needed.
The ABS light recently came on and has been diagnosed to a bad ABS speed sensor for front right wheel. This is a simple fix, part is about $20.
And lastly, this is a truck that spent the last 12 years in Iowa and Wisconsin winters so there is some rust, as pictured. The worst is along the rocker panels and cab corners with small surface spots developing over rear wheel wells.
