Vehicle Description

The car runs and drives but needs some attention. The engine “hesitates” on acceleration. I have replaced the air filter, spark plugs, plug wires, fuel filters, and fuel injectors. Suspect a vacuum leak but I am through putting time and money into it. It was a spare vehicle but we no longer need it. The other problems with it are as follows: the instrument cluster gauges do not work, the diodes/stepper motors are bad. A repair kit on eBay is $24, a repair service where you send it to them and they repair it is $69 on eBay, and a replacement repaired unit is $116 on eBay. Or, you could just do like I have and not worry with it. You just reset the manual trip odometer when you fill up with gas and start looking for a gas station when you get to 300 miles on a tank of gas. If you fill up every 300 miles you are safe. Don’t drive faster than the rest of the traffic around you, and it will keep you within the speed limit. The AWD (all wheel drive) light stays on. Don’t go where you need 4 wheel drive, and you are good. It may be related to the gauge cluster. The left brake light lens has a hole in it, and the windshield is cracked. A replacement windshield is between $225 and $275 locally and that has already been taken into consideration with the price so not a negotiation point. (Free Tip, don’t park under an oak tree in a storm.) The interior is very dirty since the car has sat closed up for several months and has mildew. The carpet is very dirty and stained. The front passenger window doesn’t work. Now on to the short list of good. The AC and heat work. If you aren’t familiar with the Rendezvous, it is actually a pretty cool utility vehicle. the back seats fold down and also fold forward to give you a large cargo space. They also remove very easily. Trivia point, the cargo space is wide enough to fit a sheet of plywood (48”) inside between the sidewalls. Asking $1200 OBO. Also would consider trade/barter. Hit me up with an offer. The worst that can happen is I say no.
