Used 2004 BMW 5-Series for CHEAP for sale in Washington, District Of Columbia

IMPORTANT - READ FULL POST BEFORE CONTACTING

For sale is a 2004 BMW 530i with clean title and DC inspection. 184,222 on the odometer and kept in a covered garage. It's fully loaded (sunroof, heated seats, automatic lights, automatic seats, etc). I am the second owner and purchased at ~165k miles. Title, records, and two brand new keys ($500 value) are in hand. This car needs some work to be fully driveable and I have priced it at a significant discount to account for the work you will need to get done. I want to be up front and candid to avoid unnecessary back and forth - looking to move this car quickly.

Work this car needs:

1. New brakes and rotors - You can drive it away, but I would recommend taking it directly to a mechanic. The brakes are metal on metal and need to be replaced. Rotors are just old and need replacement.

2. Oil leak - There is a small oil leak. You can repair at your convenience but something that you should be aware of.

3. Maintenance light - Mechanic has said this is oil leak related and also potentially related to older internal sensors failing and giving off false warnings as well.

4. Flat tire - The front right tire is deflated. I have a spare we can put on if you want to drive it to a mechanic or I can leave this tire if you intend to tow the vehicle. Tire and wheel are in fine shape, just needs to be re-inflated.

Other issues for awareness:

1. The car has two dings on the right side (pictured). They do not impact the driveability of car and are purely aesthetic but want to make sure you see them.

2. The transmission is sensitive and will go into "limp mode" from time to time. It has been fine after a reset (car turn off/on). Mechanic suspects its a sensor issue rather than a transmission issue but labor cost of checking was prohibitive so don't know for sure.

3. There is some aesthetic damage on the rear plastic molding (pictured).

4. The glove box does not open via handle (can open with a screwdriver pressing the release, but handle would need to be replaced).

5. One of two cup holders is broken and would need to be replaced if you want to use it ($30 part)

6. The front right headlight is partially occluded - aesthetic as it passed inspection

There are misc scratches and wear and tear that comes naturally with a 15 year old car.

Recent work:

Since purchase, I've had the following work done on the car (have all records) plus general servicing/checks/oil.

New air filter (November 2017)
New belts (November 2017)
New struts/springs (February 2018)
