Up for sale is this well-maintained 2003 Toyota Camry Solara. This vehicle is currently my daily driver, so mileage will increase before sale. I acquired this vehicle from my brother who no longer needed the additional vehicle, drove it for a while, but I am considering something a little more sporty, so I thought I would list it for sale. I Took care of some small maintenance items upon getting the car, more details below. Vehicle just passed inspection, has 11/21 stickers. The vehicle is in EXCELLENT condition on the inside, clean tan interior. No cracks on the dashboard, all trim intact and shiny. There is one small (less than 1cm) tear in the driver’s seat on the outside bolster. Powerful AC, strong heat that comes on quickly when it is cold,2AZ-FE 2.4L I4 smooth shifting 4-Speed automatic, gets around 20 MPG city and 30 MPG highway. This was the first year for the 2AZFE engine, so no timing belt to worry about. The vehicle is equipped with a JBL Audio System that sounds great, AM/FM Radio, 1 disc CD, tape deck. Has standard equipment power windows and locks, keyless entry with trunk release, cruise control, DRLs, fog lamps, security system. Has the optional sunroof. Exterior is about 5/10. Vehicle has cosmetic bumps and scrapes, stone chips on hood, minor parking lot door dings, but all panels are intact and secure, not like it’s “wrecked” or anything. 15-inch alloy wheels have some clear coat peeling. Just an older Camry, you know how it is. See photos, more available upon request. Underbody is FLAWLESS, not a spot of rust. Rear Suspension arms are not rusty AT ALL which is exceptionally rare for older camry’s, usually those arms are falling of the car. Fantastic daily driver, fantastic first car, fantastic 50th car.
The Good:
No check engine light, fresh inspection, Powerful AC and Heat, unmatched Toyota reliability, low mileage for the year.
All completed less than 500 miles ago: State inspection good through 11/21, Brand new brakes, Front Pads, Rotors and Calipers were installed, rear drums were adjusted and checked, New battery, new starter, new exhaust flex pipe, synthetic oil & filter change, engine and cabin air filters, spark plugs, tire rotation, various light bulbs replaced. Tires have 8/32 tread.
Clean interior, rides nice, good sound system, nice moonroof, comes with 3 keys and one remote & owners manuals.
The Bad:
Could use a valve cover gasket, though i have never needed to add oil. Just some weeping on the front. Cosmetic Flaws as listed above and literally nothing else. Car is mechanically excellent.
