Vehicle Description
It has the pre-emission no EGR DT466e engine in the C230 high torque configuration, which is several levels stronger than the standard version of the engine. Eaton 6406 manual 6 speed, and an upgraded Spicer 19060 rearend. The truck came with a 17060, so this one is rated 2,000 higher. 21’ steel Danco deck, Ramsey winch, wheel lift, onboard air with dual tanks, 25’ hose reel, driver air seat with blow gun, 30’ quick connect jump cables, train horn (of course), LED lighting, dual dash cams, upgraded stereo, CB, two tool boxes, and newer batteries. Power windows and locks. Currently 303,xxx on the chassis. It’s a nicely set up truck for sure, and check out what all has been done in the last couple years (with receipts):
Complete inframe engine overhaul done roughly 82k ago, plus a new engine control module
Rebuilt steer axle. King pins, drag link, pitman arm, bearings, seals, etc
Radiator, fan clutch, almost all hoses, belts, water pump, alternator, coolant flush, Baldwin fuel filter
Rebuilt larger rear axle, all tires, brakes, clutch, and starter
New Turbo, all injectors, K pump, and exhaust
Recent air filters and Amsoil Signature 15/40 12 months/25,000 mile oil change with a Fleetguard oil filter
Full chassis/lift/ram lube. New pto hydraulic hose, Baldwin filter, and new hydraulic fluid
Flaws:
Passenger door does not lock/unlock with key but works fine from inside-or via power locks from the driver side
AC was serviced and has a new compressor, but stopped blowing cold a couple months ago
ABS light sometimes comes on but then goes off. Dirty sensor maybe, but the brakes are strong and have functioned flawlessly for me.
