Vehicle Description
The BAD:
-Transmission Issue: transmission has a problem in first gear - no error code so I think it's mechanical. First gear does not work when vehicle is in OD (overdrive). With OD off, first gear will engage but it's sluggish into first and then from first to second. OD is available over 40 MPH. NOTE: Car is drivable - you can test drive it/drive it home
- it's 18 years old so there are some small dings and dents
- left turn signal likes to blink fast when headlights are on and slow when they are off
- AC works but it needs a charge
The GOOD:
- You can test drive it/drive it home
- Engine is great.
- 80K miles
- newer battery
- newer air filter
- newer tires
- brakes are in good shape
- newer spare (donut)
- replaced sun roof motor; sun roof works great and doesn't leak - even through a car wash
- newer spark plugs and wires
- newer exhaust system
- heat works fine
- no check engine or any other light (I have a scanner on my laptop to check or you can take it to an auto parts store)
- will include any extra parts that I have for it (I think I have an extra stock radio)
- clean title and I have a CARFAX
- power windows, power locks, heated power mirrors, power moonroof all work
- 1 remote and 2 keys
- has theft deterrent system so you need the keys - they are about $300 to replace
As you may surmise, I had intended to keep it until the transmission issue - if you can repair the transmission I think you have a nice car
