It absolutely pains me to do this, but I am selling my 2002 Lexus ES 300.

I have had this car for years, and have put over 60,000 miles on it. I have stacks of receipts and an extremely detailed maintenance log, and have kept the car 100% Lexus, other than the brakes and one catalytic converter (just replaced over the summer on warranty/walker). Every single possible thing that can go wrong with one of these cars has been preventatively done including the complete exhaust all low mileage, no rust genuine Toyota except cat/flex pipe (again, i replaced it under warranty over the summer from walker), timing belt, spark plugs, intake Plenum gasket. Sway bar bushings. Everything. Transmission has been babied with multiple drain/fills with genuine Toyota T-IV every 30,000

The car has had full synthetic oil changes precisely every 6000 miles, and I have cross rotated the tires at precisely 3000 miles (yes every 3k).

My background is in Lexus and Toyota products, specializing in the 3.0, 2.5(jdm 2mz) and 3.3 L “mz” V6 and u150/u140 transmissions. I have absolutely loved this car, our family has taken it on long-distance road trips, and I have found it to be one of the best driving cars I’ve ever owned.

It’s use has since declined to about once a week. Sometimes less. It’s more or less used in between company cars. We have several personal cars and this one is just not driven because of space inside, plus we have two right hand drive classic Japanese imports that we’d drive before the Lexus if we chose a "modern" sedan over our minivan or classic chevy. We have three children and they barely fit in the car with all their stuff. The car is doing no one any good sitting in my driveway of office parking lot.

The interior/leather of this car is perfect, and even smells like leather still. although the exterior DOES have a couple dings and scrapes. The previous owner bumped a parking post and put a slight crease in the front fender. Doesn’t bother me, but $150 will get you a used one that matches paint on eBay. Other than that, the door dings in small scrapes and chips associated with an 18-year-old car are present. Only one was us; a shopping cart on a windy day gave it a dime-sized ding. the very bottom of the doors on 2002-2006 ES300/330 is actually rubber painted to match the car (sound reduction) and the paint has chipped from the rubber in spots.

The car leaks absolutely nothing, burns absolutely nothing, and has never been exposed to anything but the proper Lexus fluids (coolant, ATF) or approved generic (5w30 synthetic oil, DOT3 brake fluid, DEX/MERC ATF for power steering)

The tires have about 1/3 of their tread left, and are smooth at all highway speed ranges. We can chat about inexpensive options to replace the tires if its important to you

The brakes are new within 8 months; sitting around too much caused a vibration in the old ones.

We have two keys, a valet key, the title, and about 30 pages of maintenance logs/receipts in hand.

I want to make it clear that I do not need the money, and this is not just some used car, its been treated like a Lexus its whole life. The only people from 100,000 to 160,000 to touch this car beside myself are the Lexus dealer technicians, and they have given it a 100% clean report every time they’ve seen it for inspection/alignment check.

Simply put, a better one will not be found. Period. I am not selling it cause I need the money, so please no back-and-fourth about price. GOOD examples of 4th generation ES cost what I am asking, or perhaps even more. Yes, they are out there for $3000 but expect to put $2500 into those cheap ones.
