Vehicle Description
The BAD:
-Obvious damage to the front passenger side of the truck. No frame damage though, I can send a picture of inside the hood if anybody is interested
-Back driver's side taillight is cracked, we slid and directly impacted front but the truck fishtailed after the initial hit and tapped the rear also
-Driver's seat leather is torn up from years of roadtrips and good use
-Battery died since I haven't drove it in 8 days but I'd be happy to jumpstart it for you to test drive. Just be sure to bring jumper cables with you when you drive it home just in case
-Passenger door is slightly jammed, I haven't tried to pull it open with the fear that it may not close.
The GOOD:
-It is in excellent mechanical condition (with the exception of the battery, which I'll jumpstart for you to drive and take home if you may)
-Original owners!
-Over the years we have done every single bit of maintanence these trucks require...from 2 clutch replacements to exhaust replacements and bed liner installation (much more as well!)
-You can still drive it home in this condition! It just doesn't have a passenger headlight. The day after the accident I actually drove it 35 miles to my buddy's house to see if it would be worth repairing to me. (He's a mechanic)
-It's a 5 speed MANUAL transmission
-Still has a clean title, we didn't report this accident to insurance
-It has leather seats (driver's side torn)
-Would be perfect if you have a connection to a parts shop
-A great truck for a beginner to learn manual transmission
-The damage is purely cosmetic, no mechanical issues
-NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS OR WARNING LIGHTS WHATSOEVER
-Engine and transmission/clutch are very strong and pull hard
All in all this is a great running truck that would be perfect for a mechanic or somebody looking for a weekend project. I can't see this needing more than a fender, headlight and rear taillight replacement. I'm looking to get $1100 or best offer obo
