This has been the perfect minimal van-life camper van. Great for getting up into the Colorado mountains and having the luxury of a roof over your head and a comfortable bed. We’ll miss it (our dog especially), but we’re selling because we’re upgrading to a teardrop trailer to pull behind our truck.
The cargo area has vinyl flooring and the original interior along the side walls and ceiling. Interior is in good shape. All windows have pull-down shades that are in working condition, except for the back driver’s side window. The last owner had put in a window AC unit that we removed - we replaced the window but didn’t get a new shade. Back doors and passenger side door windows pop out for airflow; bottom of passenger windows slide open with screens (1 screen has a hole in it). Dome lights throughout the entire cargo area work great. Fold-down desk/table on inside of side door.
The van has a 20amp Power Converter (see photo) that can be used for power at campsites when functioning properly. Unfortunately there is a fuse issue that results in a slow draining of the battery when left plugged in. We have the fuse but I don’t recommend plugging it back in without talking to a mechanic or electrician first.
We put in a wood bed platform that fits a full queen mattress - we’ve used a 3 inch foam mattress to provide enough comfort but still give decent head room (mattress is still in good shape and willing to include if interested). Plenty of storage room under the bed - fits standard cooler, storage bins, fold-up grill, fold-up camping table, anything else you may need on your weekend camping trips. Between the end of the bed platform and the front seats there’s about 2 feet of space for extra storage, additional fold-up floor seating, or your pup!
A few minor issues:
- No radio (the last owner’s was stolen and they never replaced it, neither did we)
- Windshield wiper motors recently died and need to be replaced (an easy fix you can do yourself)
- A few scratches and dents here and there but nothing major
Well maintained, last emissions test passed November 2019, no dash lights on. Handles mountain roads well - we took it up to Switzerland Trail on our last trip in June (if you know that road, you know it’s a pretty typical rough mountain road). This van will be easy to customize and make your own.
